The United States is not yet ready to provide details on a possible delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, said the President’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan.
“I have no news today regarding the F-16,” the presidential adviser said, responding to a question from reporters about whether the US administration’s position on supplying fighter jets to the Ukraine has changed.
The training of Ukrainian pilots in the skills of operating the F – 16 has long been carried out at NATO air bases. A deterrent to the transfer of these planes to Kiev is the fear of the United States that during the conflict in Ukraine they will be shot down by the Russian army, which will damage the image. Military expert Yuri Knutov talked about this earlier in an interview with Paragraph.
