Wagner PMC fighter who fled to Norway decided to return to Russia

Andrei Medvedev said he asked the Russian Embassy for help.

Wagner PMC commander Andrei Medvedev, who fled to Norway, said he dreams of returning to Russia. At the same time, the fighter notes that if he returns to his homeland, he may be in danger. It is reported by Reuters.

“Recently, I decided that I was ready to return to the Russian Federation. I turned to the Russian Embassy in Oslo for help to facilitate my return,” the former Wagnerian said. in a video message.

According to him, he made the decision to return to his native country alone, but not without “external factors”. Medvedev explained that he would like to leave “politics” behind him, but he failed to do so. He also added a saying: “where he was born, there he was useful”.

Recall that Andrei Medvedev crossed the border with Norway in January 2023. After that, he was sent to the police immigration center. The Russian said he left PMC “Wagner” immediately after the four-month contract expired. He claimed that Yevgeny Nuzhin served in the detachment with him, whose footage of the execution with a sledgehammer appeared on the web.

Already in February, a former PMC fighter was arrested in Oslo for a drunken fight with a policeman.
