Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has arrived in China, where he will meet with PRC leaders. This was reported on the government website.
The politician will begin his two-day visit with a visit to Shanghai: he will speak there at the plenary session of the Russian-Chinese business forum, and then travel to Beijing. In the Chinese capital, the Russian prime minister is expected to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier of the State Council Li Qiang.
Issues of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the trade and economic sphere will be discussed during the talks. Special attention will also be given to interaction in industry, energy, agriculture and many other areas.
The United States has previously admitted that it will not be able to stop the growing rapprochement between Russia and China.
