Peskov said that the F-16 is not able to change the situation in Ukraine

Western arms deliveries to Ukraine, including F-16 fighters, are not capable of fundamentally changing the situation. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov. He also noted that the West is equipping Kyiv with increasingly modern types of weapons.

“It’s not for us to judge by the timing, but it’s obvious that this spiral continues more and more to provide various types of more advanced weapons. Obviously a decision has been made to add aircraft, but, like all other types of weapons, it is not capable of fundamentally changing the situation at the front, ”Peskov said.

Earlier, the head of the US Air Force, Frank Kendall, during a meeting with a group of military observers in Washington, said that the transfer of F-16 fighter-bombers by Western countries to Ukraine would not fundamentally change the course of hostilities in favor of Kiev.
