Earlier, Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov posed questions to the Defense Ministry, responding live to a local resident who spoke of the region’s “elusive borders” and asked if the Defense Department and the federal authorities could be called upon to reinforce security in the region. .
“Why it happened, I think the investigating authorities will find out. I agree with you, I have even more questions than you for the MoD. I don’t want to comment because I think it’s wrong. We have to decide within our powers and, of course, we have to draw conclusions based on the mistakes that have been made,” Gladkov said.
