Acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said the situation on the flanks near Artyomovsk is stabilizing and the peak of anxiety has already passed.
“The peak of anxiety, when there was the most active phase, when the enemy tried (to strike) on the flanks and surround the guys in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) itself, has passed, according to my information”, a- he said on Solovyov Live. .
According to Pushilin, Russian forces, including PMC Wagner, which are in Artemovsk (Bakhmut), reported that combat-ready units had approached there and that flank stabilization works were being built.
A day earlier, it was reported that Denis Pushilin was visiting Artyomovsk to assess the scope of work of relevant departments and public services.
He also noted that the name Artyomovsk for the liberated city in the Donbass is official according to the legislation of the republic.
