Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his greetings to participants of the XI International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, blamed the West for the energy and food crises in the world.
He pointed to the desire of some countries and associations to maintain their own dominance in the world, while ignoring the interests and sovereignty of other countries.
According to the president, all this is accompanied by a military build-up, as well as interference in the internal affairs of other countries and attempts to extract unilateral advantages from the energy and food crises caused by Western states.
Earlier, the Russian leader said Western opponents trying to divide the multinational people of Russia in the competition of idiots would only take second place.
