On Thursday May 25, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the ambassadors of Germany, Denmark and Sweden to protest against the lack of results of the Nord Stream investigations and the inability of these countries to ensure the transparency of the actions of investigation. This became known from a post on the agency’s website.
The department described as unacceptable the evasion of the authorities of these countries from interacting with Russia on the issue of the investigation of the sabotage at Nord Stream in 2022. The Russian Foreign Ministry also said that Germany , Denmark and Sweden were not interested in determining the true circumstances of the incident. We note that on the contrary, they “drag time and try to hide the traces and the real perpetrators of the crime”.
“The intention was to continue to pressure the German, Danish and Swedish authorities to carry out an objective and thorough investigation into the sabotage of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines with the compulsory connection from Russia,” said concluded the ministry.
Earlier, an American journalist, Pulitzer Prize-winning Seymour Hersh, said the Biden administration would not conduct an honest investigation into the emergency at Nord Stream.
