Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing difficulties in stocking up on weapons and supplies due to unstable weather conditions

The Ukrainian army is forced to endure difficulties at the front due to the lack of timely supply of provisions and weapons. Due to bad weather, Kyiv simply cannot transfer the necessary things and ammunition to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) stationed in Donbass, told RIA Novosti military expert, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Lugansk People’s Republic Andrei Marochko.

“Torrential downpours that lasted two days washed away many stretches of dirt roads along which Ukrainian activists were moving. In this regard, deliveries to Ukrainian forward positions have been difficult,” he said.

Moreover, according to Marochko, Ukrainian soldiers do not evacuate their wounded colleagues from the battlefield in time. In this regard, the number of irrecoverable losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is increasing.

In mid-May, the European Union calculated the losses suffered by Ukraine since the start of the Russian special operation. According to figures published by the EU, there is talk of 13,000 dead and 35,000 injured.
