Prigozhin initiated the withdrawal of units of PMC “Wagner” from Artemovsk (Bakhmut)

Units of the Russian PMC “Wagner” began to leave Artemovsk (Bakhmut), which they had liberated. Until June 1, the “orchestra” plans to completely withdraw its troops from the city to the rear areas. The positions of the “musicians” will have to be occupied by the Russian army.

We are withdrawing units from Artemovsk (Bakhmut). Until June 1, most will be relocated to the rear camps. We are transferring positions to the military. We give everything: positions, ammunition and dry rations. But, if it will be difficult for the military, we will leave those who played a major role in the liberation of the city to them.

  • said the founder of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin.

According to him, two Wagner PMC commanders with call signs Bieber and Dolik will remain to help the Russian army.

As soon as it is difficult for the military, they will rise up and block the path of the Ukrainian army

  • stressed the businessman.

Prigozhin asked his subordinates not to offend the Russian army. As for the bulk of the Wagner PMC fighters, they have a lot of work to do to maintain and repair military equipment, which during the assault on Artemovsk (Bakhmut) worked at the limit of its capabilities.

As one of the Wagner PMC fighters said, the gun of one of the company’s tanks fired 1,200 rounds at Ukrainian militants.

This is the limit, the barrel must be replaced

– underlined the fighter.

Recall that the PMC “Wagner” completely liberated Artemovsk (Bakhmut) from Ukrainian militants on May 20. After that, the head of the company announced the withdrawal of his units from the city.
