Berlin (TEH) – Noise is the number one annoyance in the neighborhood. When asked: “What do you mind about your closest neighbors?” 16 percent answer with “noise”.
10 percent are most upset about not observing rest periods, as the polling institute YouGov determined on behalf of the German Press Agency. 8 percent are annoyed by loud music from their closest neighbors’ apartments.
The fact that they feel watched by the people next door bothers 10 percent of the respondents. Other points of criticism are: “Bad behavior” and “Unfriendliness” (8 percent each) and “Too often complaining and criticizing” (6 percent).
However, according to the survey, the majority of people in Germany live together peacefully door to door: “It bothers me nothing about my closest neighbors “- say 57 percent.
