Joe Biden has secured a sufficient number of voters to receive the Democratic Party nomination as his presidential candidate in the Western elections this fall.
Bernie Sanders, Biden’s main competitor, admitted victory in April.
“I am proud to say that we are going to the election as a unified party,” said, among other things, a statement issued by Biden last night.
The US presidential election takes place on Tuesday, November 3, where Biden eats a fight with US President Donald Trump.
Most polls indicate that Biden has some advantage over Trump already having just under five months in the election.
