The Federation Council can quickly consider the law on suspension of participation in START on February 22, immediately after the decision on this matter was taken by the deputies of the State Duma.
RIA Novosti was informed about this by the head of the international committee of the Federation Council Grigory Karasin.
Everything will depend on how quickly the document arrives for review. By the way, on the afternoon of February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the suspension of participation in the agreement.

“If they pass it, we will review it,” the politician said, speaking of how quickly senators can review the law.

Earlier it became known that Poland banned the movement of trucks registered in Belarus at the last working checkpoint between the countries.
