Ukraine wants a meeting with the Chinese side. A corresponding proposal has already been sent to Beijing through diplomatic channels, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.Zelenskyyy made the announcement during a joint press conference with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who arrived in Kiev on February 23.“We transmitted this signal at the level of diplomats. We would like to meet with China, it is in Ukraine’s interest,” Zelenskyyy said.The Ukrainian president added that he was aware of China’s “peace plan”, but could not say anything about it, since he had not yet seen the document. The very fact that Beijing is interested in the fate of Kiev, Zelenskyyy assessed positively. However, the Ukrainian authorities will not draw conclusions without clarification.
