Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced his intention to descend on the Moscow metro. The head of state will show the great circle line to Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
“We will meet the President of the People’s Republic of China, if the program allows it, we will be happy to show it to our guests. In any case, the delegations can be shown”, declared the Head of State.
As part of the opening of the BCL, Putin added that the 70-kilometre line has become the largest underground metro ring in the world, with 31 stations. The line was erected to unload the first ring. Passengers can be transferred twice to any radial branch – north and south of the capital.
Earlier, it was reported that President Putin, via video conference, informally greeted Sakhalin Region Governor Valery Limarenko.
