The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf condemned the racist statements of the Minister of Finance of the Israeli occupation government, in which he called for the erasure and destruction of the Palestinian village of Hawara. In a statement today, Mr. Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, called for confronting hate speech and violence, stressing the firm positions of the GCC states towards the Palestinian cause as the first issue of Arabs and Muslims and supporting the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital. . Al-Budaiwi stressed the need to support all regional and international efforts to advance the peace process in the Middle East and put an end to illegal practices that threaten the two-state solution in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and international legitimacy resolutions.
