RBC: after the attack of saboteurs in the Bryansk region blocked the entrances to the border

All entrances to the border villages of Sushany and Lyubechane in the Bryansk region, which were attacked by the Ukrainian “Russian Volunteer Corps” on March 2, were blocked by security forces. On this subject writing RBC in its border zone report.
As the newspaper notes, roadblocks were erected at the entrances to the villages. The first of them is installed at the turn of the village of Sachkovichi, where the police and traffic police control the transport. At the same time, only cars that follow in the direction of Bryansk are inspected, and those that go to the border are not checked, notes RBC.
The second checkpoint is located on the road to the Ukrainian border, after 12 km, where there are people in military uniforms in full combat gear with machine guns. In addition, the detour through the village of Solovyovka has been blocked, and FSB agents are on duty on the road to it.
To enter the border zone, you need to obtain special passes at the military registration and enlistment office of the nearest regional center, the village of Klimovo, writes RBC. At the same time, as one of the residents of the Klimovsky district told the publication, passes for staying in the border zone are also issued “during normal hours” – those who do not live in the areas border crossings must order them 15 days before the trip.
Two local residents, according to their acquaintances who live in Sushany and Lyubechany, told RBC that they are now prohibited from leaving these two villages, and the investigative committee is working in the settlements themselves. According to residents of nearby villages, residents have no communication, because the saboteurs took away their mobile phones.
At the same time, residents of neighboring villages said that groups of saboteurs could have crossed the border between the customs posts of Novye Yurkovichi and Starodubsky. According to Vitaly, a resident of Novozybkovo, before the start of the military conflict, the border in this place “was framed by young birch plantations and a trench.”

Attack of “Ukrainian saboteurs” in the Bryansk region

On the morning of March 2, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that Ukrainian saboteurs had entered the region. According to state news agencies and telegram channels, the fighting took place in two border villages of the Bryansk region – in Sushany and Lyubechany.
Initially, the media wrote that during the raid the Ukrainians took the inhabitants of Lubechan hostage, but later this information was denied. At the same time, according to local authorities and publications, two civilians were killed in the attack, and a boy was also injured.
A day later, on March 3, the FSB released a video that allegedly showed two civilian vehicles with supposedly dead men inside. One of these cars, judging by the footage, was shot down with small arms. The Russian side did not release any further videos from the scene.
Responsibility for what happened in the Bryansk region was taken by the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), a unit of Russian immigrants taking part in the hostilities in Ukraine alongside Kiev. The DRC claims that it did not open fire on civilians.
Russian President Vladimir Putin called the events in the Bryansk region a “terrorist attack. The investigative commission opened a criminal investigation under the articles on the terrorist attack, the endangerment of the life of law enforcement officers and the destruction of property (articles 205, 317, 167 of the criminal code) . Kiev official, in turn, denies their involvement in the incident in the Bryansk region. However, according to RDK commander Denis Kapustin (Nikitin), the exit was agreed with the Ukrainian authorities.
