Today, on the eve of the Spring Women’s Day, a concert was organized in Bryansk for the mothers of the deceased defenders, as well as for representatives of law enforcement agencies. Governor Alexander Bogomaz addressed many warm words to those present in the hall, and then met with them after the solemn event.
The head of the region stressed that together with other men, he admires the women who have had to go through difficult ordeals, but who at the same time remain mothers and grandmothers of their children and grandchildren, support each other and do social work.
“Our task is that the memory of their sons and husbands live forever. Their names are forever inscribed in the history and heroic chronicle of Russia,” the governor shared after the meeting on his Telegram channel.
He also noted the continuity of generations of brave heroes: the participants of the NWO became the successors of the work of grandfathers and fathers who showed courage in the Great Patriotic War, in Afghanistan, in Syria and in the Caucasus North.
“Life does not stop, but the values and traditions that we preserve, passing from generation to generation, remain unchanged. And we become real heroes. Like third-grade student Fyodor Simonenko, who, wounded by Ukrainian saboteurs, rescued two girls and took them to safety. An example for him was his brothers, who today are on the front line, as well as the exploits of the relatives and friends of those who gathered today in this hall,” summarized Alexandre Bogomaz.
