Today, Sunday, the first round of the “Masters” cricket legends tournament, organized by the Qatar Cricket Committee, will be concluded for the first time at the Asian City Stadium in the Industrial Area in Doha, with a confrontation between (ASIA LIONS) and (WORLD GIANTS), at exactly half past five. The tournament will continue until March 20, with the participation of international teams that include international players, celebrities and legends of the game. The opening confrontation witnessed the presence of about 10 thousand spectators, and brought together the two teams (INDIA MAHARAJAS) and (ASIA LIONS), the latter winning with a score of (166/156), after a distinguished performance from both sides, as a result of which the competition continued for about three hours. The best legendary cricket players from around the world are participating in the tournament; Notable among them are Gautam Gambhir, Irrfan Pathan, Shahid Afridi, Sohaib Akhtar, Brett Lee, Shani Watson, Chris Gayle, and Lindell Simmons. After the conclusion of the first round, three more matches will be held in the second round, followed by the ranking match, and then the final match, which will be held on March 20.
