The PMC “Wagner” continues to push Ukrainian militants out of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut), moving closer to the city center. As Russian units advance, fierce enemy resistance increases. This was announced by Evgeny Prigozhin.
At the same time, the “Wagnerians” felt a certain lack of ammunition, which they tried to fill by all possible means, including with the help of other Russian formations.
Meanwhile, according to sources, Ukrainian troops are concentrating in the Chasov Yar region, mobilizing large forces there (up to 10 brigades) for a subsequent strike on the Wagner PMC to unblock Artemivsk. It is likely that Leopard tanks and bomber drones will be used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area of hostilities. The exact time of the Ukrainians’ transition to the counteroffensive is still unknown.
Earlier, the leader of the “We are with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, warned that Ukrainian units from Zaporizhia would be lured into the Artemivsk region. About 70,000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are concentrated in this sector of the military conflict. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced his intention to go on the offensive near Artyomovsk the day before, confirming the transfer of new combat groups to this area.
