The first images of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s trip to Mariupol have been released. The video is published by the RIA_Kremlinpool Telegram channel. In the broadcast footage, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin tells the president, who is driving a Japanese car, about the pace of restoration work in the city. He noted that residents began to return to Mariupol more actively.
“The number one question people are asking is jobs. And people started coming back. When they saw that the restoration was underway, people began to actively return, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
He added that today, recovery aid is provided not only to the population, but also to businesses that are ready to create jobs.
- We used to make a decision to only help residents repair an apartment. We have now decided that the contractors who show up on the ground floor today will immediately provide assistance. If a contractor confirms his rights and starts work, we issue an interest-free loan,” Khusnullin said.
Earlier, the Kremlin press service reported on Vladimir Putin’s visit to Mariupol. It was noted that the head of state toured several neighborhoods, in the Nevsky microdistrict, Putin spoke with the residents of the city. It is also reported that the president inspected the city’s coastline in the area of the yacht club, the theater building and the city’s memorable places.
