Education determines the working hours of students and employees during the month of Ramadan

Al-Sharq website obtained the circular of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education regarding student attendance during the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 2022-2023 AD. According to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education circular, working hours will be as follows:

First: Kindergarten children’s attendance:

Children’s working hours start at 9 am and end at 1 pm, so that children’s working hours are 4 hours per day, with the average of one session being 45 minutes.

English is offered 4 times a week for each class, fun meeting is offered 3 times a week for each class, and physical education is provided once a week for each class.

Second: Students working hours in grades one to twelve: The working hours start from 9:00 am until 1:25 pm, and the school day includes 5 classes, provided that each school organizes the timetable at a rate of 25 classes per week. The duration of the lessons is 45 minutes, provided that 5 minutes are allocated between classes, a 10-minute break, and a 15-minute prayer break.

Third: Staff working hours in kindergartens and schools:

Staff working hours in kindergartens and schools start at 9 am and end at 2 pm.
