London accuses Moscow of disinformation

October 4, 2025

Russia is “deliberately engaged in spreading disinformation” regarding Britain’s supply of depleted uranium missiles to Kiev, the UK Department of Defense has said. According to them, depleted uranium is not related to nuclear weapons.

“This is a standard component that has nothing to do with nuclear weapons or capabilities. Russia is aware of this, but is deliberately trying to spread disinformation,” Sky News quotes a Defense Ministry statement. of the Kingdom.

The ministry noted that, according to scientific studies, the impact of the use of a depleted uranium projectile on human health and the environment “is likely to be low”.

On March 21, the deputy director of the kingdom’s defense ministry deputy chief, Annabelle Goldie, said that London would transfer a batch of depleted uranium shells to Kiev. Vladimir Putin responded by saying that Russia would not leave the West’s use of nuclear weapons unanswered.
