Lukashenko said Russia could transfer munitions containing real uranium to Belarus

October 4, 2025

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko doubted that the UK would transfer depleted uranium munitions to Ukraine, BelTA informs.

According to him, the Russian side can supply Minsk with shells containing real uranium if Britain hands over the shells to the Kiev regime.

“If they (Western countries) are crazy, then they will give impetus to this process,” the president said.

According to Lukashenko, the use of depleted uranium shells by the Ukrainian armed forces will not go unpunished, the response will be terrible.

“As soon as these munitions explode on the positions of Russian troops, you will see that the response will be terrible, it will be a lesson for the whole planet,” he added.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said the day before that the country would be forced to react appropriately if Ukraine’s foreign partners handed over nuclear weapons.
