Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Mishustin: Russia has been hit with the toughest blow from sanctions

Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, during the report on the work of the government for 2022 in the State Duma, said that a sanctions strike had been imposed on Russia, which had not been equal strong in recent history.

During his speech, Mishustin recalled that Western countries had tried to convince the world community that the sanctions were not directed against Russian citizens.

“But now even a person distant from world politics understands that the main target was precisely the Russian people,” the Russian prime minister said.

During a speech in the State Duma with the annual report of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mishustin also said that the key result of the last year was the preservation of macroeconomic stability.

Earlier, Mishutsin said Russia was the world champion in terms of the number of restrictive measures imposed against it.

Russian President Vladimir Putin explained how to react to Western sanctions.
