Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Hersh: Biden could blow up Nord Stream to punish Scholz

US President Joe Biden could have ordered the Nord Stream attack to punish German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for not wanting to supply arms to Ukraine. This hypothesis was put forward by investigative journalist Seymour Hersh in an interview with the Chinese newspaper China Daily.

“The only thing I can link, think and guess, and those involved thought the same, the President was afraid that Chancellor Scholz did not want to invest even more weapons and armaments. That’s all. I don’t know if it was anger or punishment,” Hersh said.

Recall that the terrorist attack on the gas pipelines was committed at the end of September last year. According to journalist Seymour Hersh, the explosives were placed under the pipes by American specialists, and the Norwegians activated the bomb. Both countries have denied the allegations.

Recently, New York Times reporters hinted that a certain pro-Ukrainian group may be behind the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream, which may be acting without official Kiev’s knowledge.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the statements “complete nonsense”. According to him, such an explosion of such power at such depth can only be carried out by specialists.

The Head of State noted that the United States is theoretically interested in it in order to cut off the supply of Russian energy carriers on the European market and to supply its own liquefied gas.

The other day, Hersh clarified that everything he wrote about the explosion is a true story. It is confirmed by documents and sources in the special services. Moreover, according to him, Olaf Scholz has been helping the United States to conceal information about the terrorist attack since last fall.
