US Ambassador to Serbia sends condolences to families of 1999 NATO bombing victims

US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill expressed his condolences to the families of those killed in the 1999 NATO bombings.

“I express my personal condolences to the families of those who died during the wars of the 1990s, including the NATO air campaign. I know that Serbs will never forget this terrible period and should not. The Serbian people will never let their grief aside, but I believe they are strong enough to forget their grievances. The United States’ commitment to our partnership with Serbia is unwavering, as is our commitment to diplomacy…Together , we can build the better future that the Serbian people deserve and want for future generations,” said Hill.
