The All-Russian eco-marathon “Hand over old papers – save a tree” begins in the Moscow region

The All-Russian Ecological Recycling Marathon “Return waste paper – save wood” will be held in the Moscow region from April 11 to May 25. The districts of the city will compete in the amount of waste paper collected.

The press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow region reported that residents of urban districts, businesses, educational institutions and public organizations can participate. All participants must submit an application on the hand over-paper.rf site, and legal entities must collect at least 500 kilograms.

You can recycle glossy magazines, newspapers, office and construction paper, notebooks, paper packaging, cardboard, archives and old books. All paper products should be tied in tight bundles and metal and plastic items removed.

Last year, more than 173 kilograms of waste paper were collected in the spring and more than 112 kilograms of waste paper in the fall. The result is 4700 trees saved.
