More than 10,000 citizens joined the subbotniks in Krasnodar

In the capital of Kuban, more than 10,000 citizens took part in subbotniks. A two-month citywide campaign to restore order in Krasnodar began in early March. As part of the activities of the regional center, more than 700,000 square meters of territory have already been cleared, more than 600 cubic meters of waste have been removed and more than 70 illegal dumps have been eliminated.

Krasnodar leader Evgeny Naumov noted that order is needed everywhere. The mayor recalled that the two-month period lasts 3 weeks, the work is intensive, but it is almost invisible. Evgeny Naumov drew attention to the area near the pedestrian bridge along ovaya across the Kuban embankment and asked to include this area in the plan.

The head of Krasnodar added that all forces should be involved in holding a city-wide subbotnik. Invite people as much as possible. The politician stressed that the city should be neat, clean and pleasant to live in.

Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar Maxim Onishchenko noted that not only employees of the mayor’s office, but also citizens and volunteers participate in subbotniks. So, many residents of Krasnodar independently organize sanitary events. Tidy up the territory near their homes and in squares.
