Hamza Yusuf becomes First Minister of Scotland

Scottish National Party leader Hamza Yusuf has been officially elected as the country’s Prime Minister following a vote in the Scottish Parliament. This was reported by the Sky News channel.

Yusuf will be sworn in at the Court of Session on Wednesday.

Earlier, Scottish politician and ruling Scottish National Party (SNP) leadership candidate Hamza Yusuf found himself in an ’embarrassing’ situation during a meeting with Ukrainian refugees.
