Experts explained to Notepad the tasks facing regional leaders
Under radically changed socio-economic conditions, governors were faced with fundamentally new tasks. Indeed, the heads of regions are undergoing unprecedented trials of strength. This is why the federal center will be much stricter in asking regional leaders. After all, the future of the country hangs in the balance. Experts briefed Bloknot on what the governor’s body expects in the near future.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vitaly Milonov:
“Today, the governor’s body is undergoing serious tests of strength and professionalism. The governor in the eyes of the inhabitants is the first after the president: the personification of the supreme power of the state in the region.
Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov The main thing now, I think, is to respond to the demands and challenges that time and circumstances put before our country for the common good.
Director of the network of federal experts “Club of Regions” Sergey Starovoitov:
– One of the main tasks of the heads of regions is to maintain the economic situation and constantly seek import substitution channels. Because, above all, it is necessary to save the active companies and, consequently, the taxes and the jobs. All other tasks are important, but secondary and current: power ratings, socio-demographic indicators, psychological assistance to priority groups of the population. But if the economy of the regions collapses sharply, the federal center will not save.
Difficult times await governors Natalya Zheltova, an expert with the Political Assembly Analysis Agency:
– The governors expect warm weather. Sitting with folded hands will no longer work. No one else will turn a blind eye to corruption and it will not be possible to undo all the problems as a special military operation. Now everyone is in the exact same boat, so going out and evading responsibility won’t work. Those moments when it was possible to get out, to “get off”, to let go of the brakes will no longer work. The whole country now, without exaggeration, rests on the governors. The message “Federal Center Won’t Save”: What’s Next for Governors first appeared on trending articles.
