Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

In Ukraine, UOC’s request to terminate lease on Kiev-Pechersk Lavra rejected – Reuters

The UOC in its lawsuit pointed out that the termination of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra lease was carried out unilaterally. “The court refused to guarantee the request in case No. 910/4552/23 of the UOC to the national reserve “Kiev-Pechersk Lavra” to invalidate the decision on the unilateral refusal of the contract … on the free use by a religious organization of religious buildings and other state property”, – said the Ukrainian minister on his Telegram channel.Recall that the Ukrainian authorities announced the termination of the lease contract with the monastery and ordered the expulsion of all monks and clergy from the Lavra until March 29. Speaking at a briefing on Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova once again noted that the Kiev regime was committing flagrant arbitrariness, which Washington and Constantinople condone. The diplomat again called on relevant international organizations and the entire world community to condemn the actions of the Ukrainian authorities.
