Earlier it became known that believers have been gathering in the monastery since morning and plan to go to the main entrance of the monastery, where they will be waiting for representatives of the commission of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra reserve. The canonical UOC had previously noted that on Friday morning the authorities would seal the Lavra temples, and provocateurs would be brought there, to which believers were not to react.
As stated, the police have not yet intervened in the incident. Believers say they will not authorize the commission until they have a relevant court ruling. According to the publication, the members of the commission have already left the “stage”. Believers continue to be at the entrance to Lavra.
