125 HOA are registered in Murmansk

– Published on:

In Murmansk, the system of homeowners associations (HOA) is popular with residents of apartment buildings. There are already 125 such associations in the city.

As part of the HOA, the northerners manage the house themselves. Homeowners can decide where to spend their money and create the best living conditions for themselves. In other cases, management companies (MCs) are responsible for the house.

According to the head of Murmansk, Igor Morar, the municipality actively supports citizens when they want to organize a HOA. The associations are even reimbursed for the costs of creating a group. The manager spoke about it in his telegram channel.

In 2022, the competition “The house we live in” was held in Murmansk. As part of it, the best HOA was determined in the city. It turned out that these were the staff of a residential building on Karl Marx Street, where the northerners carried out all the assigned tasks.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Murmansk said that in the Murmansk region more than 500 families in 2023 spent their capital on the purchase of housing.
