NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is convinced that decisions on operational matters, including a possible counter-offensive, should be taken by the Ukrainian military, who are on the ground. According to him, they “have the best control of the situation”.
The politician assured that the alliance will continue to support Kiev with weapons and will do so in the future.
“The task of the allies is to provide the necessary assistance, as well as to provide high-level training so that the Ukrainians have the opportunity to use all new, more modern weapons. First of all, it concerns battle tanks,” Stoltenberg said.
At the same time, he did not begin to predict the outcome of the probable Ukrainian offensive, which the Kiev regime announces for April-May. The Eastern Herald reports.
Earlier it became known that by decision of the council of commanders of Wagner PMC, Maxim Fomin (Vladlen Tatarsky) was posthumously enlisted as a fighter in the group with subsequent social payments and benefits for relatives of the fallen soldier .
