Libya: Simple dispute made neighbor attack with RPG

The Libyan Ministry of Interior commented on the incident of a citizen firing a missile “RPG”. He attacked his neighbor’s house in the city of Al-Khums, in the west of the country, due to disputes between them, which developed into the use of firearms between the two parties.

The Libyan Ministry of Interior said – in a statement – “After a communication was received from the Kaam Police Station in the Al-Khums Security Directorate to the Communications Room in the Directorate regarding the statement of a group of people residing in the area against a person who threw two Danahs “RPG” After that, patrols of the Kaam Police Station, Criminal Investigation Department, and the Rescue Police Department, supported by the Special Task Force, went to the scene of the incident, accompanied by the director of the Al-Khums Partial Prosecution, based on an assignment from the Chief of the Al-Khums Primary Prosecution, regarding the investigation of the communication.”.

The statement added: “The house was cordoned off and the accused arrested “A-A-E” The house was entered and a large amount of weapons and ammunition were found inside”.

He continued: “The five report papers were handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department, based on the instructions of the Public Prosecution to complete the rest of the procedures, and by reasoning with the accused, he admitted that he possessed these seizures, and he was deposited in the pretrial detention room in the department, then he was referred to the Public Prosecution”
