Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Russia is ready to give asylum to Trump

If necessary, Russia is ready to consider former US President Donald Trump’s request for political asylum, Maria Butina, a member of the State Duma’s International Affairs Committee, told URA.RU.

“If Trump asks for political asylum, then Russia will consider that request, of course,” she said.

As for the Trump exchange, Butina noted that Russia has enough of its own citizens who are in the United States on bogus charges and who should be defended.

“So we have someone to talk to before we come up with ideas with Trump. I think Americans should take care of Trump themselves,” she said.

Former US President Donald Trump has been charged with financial fraud. We’re talking about alleged payments to porn star Stormy Daniels for her silence during the 2016 election race.
