Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Political scientist Pashkovsky: Kennedy Jr.’s election nomination does not threaten Biden

The appointment of the nephew of the 35th US President John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy Jr., is not dangerous for the current head of state, Joe Biden, since he himself is a protege of the Kennedy clan. Political scientist Yevgeny Pashkovsky said this in a conversation with 360.

“The Kennedys did not give up on entering the White House, but for that they conditionally needed their candidates. Only their candidates were Barack Obama (44th President of the United States. – Editor’s note) and Joe Biden,” said the expert.

Pashkovsky believes that the candidacy of Robert Kennedy Jr. in no way threatens the American president: the Kennedys “are indirectly present in the White House anyway”. He explained that the political clan has a big lobby in the Senate and Congress, to some extent it also determines the policy of the US Democratic Party.

The Kennedy family only managed to enter the White House directly once, when John Fitzgerald Kennedy became president in 1961. His brothers Robert Francis and Edward Kennedy also ran for president at different times.

Earlier, US media reported that Robert Kennedy Jr. asked to run in the 2024 presidential campaign with the Democrats. Kennedy Jr. is a lawyer, environmental activist and radio host. He is also known to be anti-vaccination.
