Sheikh Dr. Ikrima Sabri, preacher of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, said: The practices of the Israeli occupation "criminal" For the sake of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, it will not prevent the worshipers from traveling, performing i’tikaaf, and tying in its courtyards. In statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Sheikh Ikrima Sabri stressed the need to intensify the travel to the blessed mosque, and to continue the ribat in its courtyards, despite the strict restrictions imposed by the occupation authorities on worshipers and seclusions through military checkpoints, and preventing the entry of worshipers. He held the Israeli occupation government fully responsible for the repercussions of what is happening in Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning of the danger of attacking it, and the continued incursions of extremist settlers during the so-called "Easter Holiday" The Jew, who is exploited by the Jews to impose their sovereignty over Al-Aqsa. Sheikh Sabri explained that the occupation’s attacks on those who are in retreat in Al-Aqsa Mosque and storming its courtyards are premeditated, and that there is a Zionist plan prepared in advance to target Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing the need to confront it. He said: The occupation authorities want, through the brutal repression of those in retreat, to silence the voice of Jerusalemites in order to empty Al-Aqsa Mosque of Muslims to make way for extremist Jews to storm it easily without any restrictions or obstacles. The occupation forces had renewed their storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque last night, and brutally assaulted the worshipers and those in I’tikaaf, besieged the Al-Qibli Mosque, assaulted the worshipers by beating them with sticks, and fired sound and gas bombs at them, in an attempt to remove them from it by force, which led to the injury of a number of them suffocation.
