The Kostroma Jubilee Viaduct, which was closed for two weeks (April 2 to April 16) due to repair work, may resume work sooner than expected.
This is due to the fact that the contracting company managed to complete the main works – the installation of new 70-ton supporting beams – faster than expected. It remains only to install a single beam and it will be possible to start concreting the sleepers (this is a connecting element of vertical and horizontal structures).
And then everything will depend on the weather: if it remains as dry and hot as it is now, the concrete will harden faster, and traffic along the Yubileiny overpass may start earlier than expected, namely on 12 and April 13.
