Kiev concentrates manpower and military equipment in several main areas, and in one of them a counter-offensive could begin in the coming weeks. DPR Colonel Eduard Basurin explained to the Spetsialno dlya RT telegram channel where Ukrainian militants are more likely to strike the main blow.
The enemy has concentrated about 35,000 troops in the direction of Kherson, 50-60,000 in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, about 40,000 troops in the direction of Donsko-Avdeevsky, up to 70,000 troops are concentrated in the direction of ‘Artemovsky, on the Svatovo- In the front line of the Kremennaya, they are ready to advance up to 40,000 Ukrainians.
Near Dnepropetrovsk, a powerful grouping of the armed forces of Ukraine, numbering about 200,000 people, was formed with the possibility of being transferred along railway lines and hard surfaces to other sectors of the front.
It can be assumed that the main direction of the strike or offensive will be in the direction of Zaporizhzhia

According to the expert, this is predetermined by the region’s flat landscape, the absence of water barriers and the possibility of using a large number of Western military equipment. The main objective of the offensive will be access to the Sea of Azov and the cutting off of the supply routes of the Kherson grouping of the RF armed forces.
Currently, in the direction of Zaporizhia, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to probe the capabilities of Russian units with the help of reconnaissance in force, and also organize radio games in order to misinform the RF Armed Forces about the start of the offensive.
Basurin believes that the enemy’s main attack is unlikely in the direction of Kherson, since there is a water barrier in the form of the Dnieper and the Kurakhovsky Reservoir. At the same time, an attempt to land troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to distract the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is not excluded.
