Israel is ready to be an intermediary between Russia and Ukraine. Israeli Ambassador to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi spoke about this in an interview with reporters.

He said that the official city of Jerusalem can be a real mediator in the negotiations between Moscow and Kiev and is ready for this, but only if both sides want it.

According to the diplomat, the Israeli side is always for peace and the same settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. The Eastern Herald writes about this.

“If Russia and Ukraine have a desire to agree, we are always ready to provide assistance,” said Alexander Ben Zvi.

Previously, it was reported that the United States was studying the possibility of imposing sanctions on Hungary because of its refusal to follow the general policy of Western countries, especially with regard to the conflict in Ukraine.
