The Ministry of Defense reported that Wagner’s assault detachments in the direction of Donetsk took possession of three blocks in the Artyomovsk region.
“In the direction of Donetsk, in the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) region, Wagner’s assault detachments captured three blocks,” the ministry’s Telegram channel said.
In addition, the “southern” group of Russian troops hit the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which were trying to break into Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
In this direction, the Russian armed forces conducted eight sorties and 52 fire missions were carried out.
It is stated that the losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 245 servicemen, as well as a tank, two armored vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, eight cars, three pickup trucks, D-20 and Msta-B howitzers, as well as three Grad MLRS launchers.
The military department previously reported that Kiev in the direction of Donetsk over the past day lost more than 450 servicemen and mercenaries in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
