Russian striker “Washington Capitals” Evgeny Kuznetsov said he had nothing to say about the end of the season for his team.
“I have nothing to say at the moment,” Russian Machine Never Breaks quoted him as saying.
Kuznetsov added that he wants to play better next season and expects Washington to do better.
“I’m pretty sure that next season we’ll be on the right track,” said the striker.
Kuznetsov said he played the season with an injury.
“I played with an injury. I still need time. I fought until the end, tried to recover and all that,” he said.
In the 2022/23 season, Kuznetsov played 81 NHL games, scoring 55 (12+43) points, and became the team’s top assist and third scorer.
