Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

In the Vologda region, a mother blogger will reimburse 50,000 rubles to a teacher about whom she wrote false information

In March last year, in one of the Vologda schools, the head teacher accompanied the first-graders to the locker room on the first floor. Seeing there was a crush at the moment, the teacher restricted the kids from coming inside so the guys already in the locker room could get out first.

Three girls did not hear the teacher’s call and tried to enter. Then the woman blocked their way with her hand and dragged them behind her so that the oncoming stream of schoolchildren did not knock them over.

After some time, the mother of one of the girls came to school, saying that during this episode the teacher grabbed her daughter by the hand and harmed her health. In addition, being a blogger, the citizen published false information about the teacher on her social network page. The documents contained information discrediting the dignity and honor of the teacher.

As a result, a teacher with a total experience of over 30 years filed a lawsuit to protect herself and her company’s reputation. The video shown from that day confirmed that the woman did not use any violence against the child nor did she accuse him of having a high tone. The fact that there were no illegal actions was also confirmed by internal audit documents.

From now on, the mother blogger will be required to place on the Internet a rebuttal of previously published information. She will also reimburse the teacher 50,000 rubles as non-pecuniary damage.
