A Belgorod man recently released from prison is suspected of stealing tools

A 35-year-old resident of Krasnogvardeisky district is suspected of stealing two gasoline-powered lawn mowers. The man stole tools from a friend he had come to visit.

According to preliminary data, the suspect went to a friend’s house. The guest noticed the owner’s tools and decided to steal them. After a while, he came back and pulled out two gas-powered trimmers, which he then sold to a friend.

The 53-year-old owner of the tools did not turn himself in to the police, but informed his fellow citizens of the theft. These, in turn, brought the information to the police station. The policeman came to the man to verify the information received. The resident of the village confirmed the fact of the theft and wrote a statement.

The suspect has been arrested. The 35-year-old man has just been released from prison. Police identified the buyer and seized the stolen goods, the regional interior ministry’s press service reported. On the fact of theft, a criminal case was opened.
