Zvezda war correspondent Konstantin Isaev received a threatening message from an unknown number after the incident with the figurine at the SDEK checkpoint. The journalist was written to “take over”.
Half an hour ago he tried to pick up a suspicious package at the pick-up point, which was cordoned off today. People were evacuated, as it was assumed there might be explosives inside the figure.
Specialists checked the object, but nothing dangerous was found. Later, it turned out that the police seized him.
The fact that some Russian military envoys and political scientists received parcels with busts resembling a figurine with which Vladlen Tatarsky was killed became known the day before, April 19.
