State Duma deputy Zatulin proposed to reverse the decision to transfer Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR

– Published on:

State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin proposed to reverse the decision to transfer Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR from the RSFSR in 1954.

“We hear (from Ukraine) until now the same thing, that this is our land, give back our Crimea, this is our sea, our Yalta. Since when? Since 1954. In 1954, Crimea was stolen from Russia by decision of party organs in violation of all possible laws of the Soviet Union. We are the only successors of the Soviet Union, so we should go back and defiantly reverse these decisions. It must be done We have to follow this path,” Zatulin said.

Ukraine is able to return Crimea, but this will not happen immediately, most likely, it will have to overcome a certain transition period. US President Joe Biden shared his opinion on ABC television.
