His Highness performs the Eid al-Fitr prayer

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, performed the blessed Eid Al-Fitr prayer with his loyal people at Lusail Chapel this morning.

The prayer was also performed by His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Emir, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, and a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs, ministers, members of the Shura Council, and a number of Their Excellencies ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in the country.

His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Thaqil Sayer Al-Shammari, Judge of the Court of Cassation and Member of the Supreme Judicial Council, delivered the Eid sermon, in which he reminded of the blessing of completing fasting and praying, and the attainment of the feast of the people of Islam, and that this necessitates praising and thanking God.

And his eminence indicated that thanking God is one of the most important houses of worship for those who walk to their Lord, as he reminded us of the imminent security, comfortable living, and good governance, and that this is one of the most important factors for the unity of society and the recommendation of righteousness and the connection of kinship, and he called for the Islamic nation to unite and righteousness.
