PMC “Wagner” entrenched on the Artyomovsk – Chasov Yar highway

– Published on:

The fighters of the private military company Wagner, with the support of regular units of the Russian armed forces, were able to gain a foothold on the Artyomovsk-Chasov Yar highway, reports war correspondent Andrey Rudenko.

It is noted that the Wagner fighters took control of about 500 meters of the road, which put an end to the supply of Ukrainian units in Artyomovsk.

With the official confirmation of the data, the consolidation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces remaining in Artemivsk will be doomed. The Ukrainian command will have to make a decision on its abandonment or a counter-offensive to free units in the colony.

On the eve, it became known that the United States warned Ukraine about the high risk of encirclement of Ukrainian troops in Artyomovsk and the subsequent surrender of the city, in connection with which America urged to leave the colony without spending ammunition and manpower on its defense.
